We have a shared responsibility to conserve and protect our environment for the benefit of future generations.

Here at Fidelis we are doing all that we can to reduce our carbon emissions, energy consumption and pollution. We also try to get everyone around us to work as sustainably as possible.

Printing and stationery

We recognise that the processes used in the production of printed material can present a risk to the environment. We partner with a printing company who is equally committed to reducing the environmental impact of their business.

We are proud to state that the printing techniques used by our printing supplier are chemical free using 100% vegetable ink for all of their wet printing.

All of our paper is recycled which helps to divert waste paper away from landfill, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions such as methane.

Office and IT equipment

Our policy is to use ONLY Energy Star rated appliances and equipment in our office.

ENERGY STAR is a trusted government-backed accreditation helping us all to save money and protect the environment through energy-efficient products and practices. The ENERGY STAR label was established to ensure that accredited products reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants caused by the inefficient use of energy in their manufacture and use.

Our systems are ‘cloud based’ which means that we do not need to operate file server hardware. This strategy reduces our costs as well as our energy consumption.

Our desktop and laptop computers are completely solid state making them among the most energy efficient computers available today.

Fidelis took a relatively complicated situation that had built up over time and provided a route forward that had simplicity and common sense at the heart of the proposal. Too often I have been given ideas that actually do the reverse. The proposal covered the needs of working capital efficiency; an improved (leaner) supply chain; and a project plan to see us through to conclusion, whilst allowing the core team to focus on their day jobs.
